Sharing files
Connecting to users
When you connect to a room, the user list is displayed to the right. To connect to a user in this list, double-click their name. If they have an open slot, you will see their list being downloaded in your transfer pane. Once the list has downloaded, their user file list will open automatically. From this window, you can browse their files just as you would your own. If you understand Windows explorer, you should have no problem navigating other peoples' shares. Files or folders that you click to download are added to your download queue, which automatically prioritizes downloads. ZPoc's smart queue will first download the smaller files (less than 16KB) and will allow you to set priority on all other files. Files are downloaded to your default directory that you select in the options window.
Resuming downloads
ZPoc is fully capable of resuming downloads. If the original file is still located in the default directory and the name is the same, simply downloading the file as usual will automatically resume the file. If the file is the same, but named differently, you can still resume by right-clicking the new file, and choosing Download to... > Browse..., and then selecting the old file.
Why can't I connect to this user?
Does the user have an open slot? If not, you will not be able to download files from them until a slot is opened. You can request a slot by private messaging the user, most users will not mind. If you are in passive mode, you will not be able to connect with others in passive mode. To determine if a user is in passive mode, look for bricks in their icon in the room user list.
I can connect to a user and queue files, but it still says "no slots available". What's up?
If you are connecting to another ZPoc user, you are allowed to download their user list and files less than 16KB without an open slot.
